beMail Anti-Spam Policy

What is beMail?

  • beMail is email software owned by Ketchup Adv S.p.A. It works like the email program each of us uses, but every day it sends millions of emails on behalf of the customers who use it for newsletters and commercial offers.

How does it work?

  • Every beMail customer has signed a contract committing them to follow a set of rules, known as anti-spam best practices, as well as privacy regulations
  • Senders may only send to people who have given consent to receive emails under applicable law
  • Recipients can unsubscribe easily, with a single click, using the link at the bottom of every email sent

How does beMail prevent misuse?

  • Email addresses are not shared, sold or handled by beMail except as instructed by the data controller.
  • Every customer must collect and manage their email lists on beMail in compliance with the law
  • beMail is never authorized to disclose data uploaded by customers
  • beMail monitors customer activity and user reports. In case of spam, it suspends the service and requests payment of any penalties set out in the contract.

How to report a problem

  • If you receive unwanted email or want to report a problem, error or abuse committed using beMail, write to abuse-mail@ketchupadv.com.
  • To unsubscribe, use the link at the bottom of every email. beMail processes unsubscribes immediately (emails already queued before the unsubscribe may still arrive within the following 24 hours).
  • beMail automatically checks that an unsubscribe link is present in every message sent by its customers. If the link is not visible or does not work (returns an error), you can report the problem to abuse-mail@ketchupadv.com.

Information for providers and postmasters

  • Each beMail customer uses its own envelope sender (Return-Path header), associated with its own DKIM signature on the same domain, which the customer cannot replace
  • IP addresses are dedicated to individual customers and are not changed at the customer’s request; more may be added to handle growing volumes.
